Can anyone tell me if i can cut down a recoil spring for a full size p220 and use it in my p220 carry model with a shorter barrel?Need a heavier spring for buffalobore ..45+p`s.

Maybe. You will need to cut it down in 1/2 turn increments until it's short enough that the slide lug stops against the recoil lug of the frame, and not the bunchd up spring. By the time you remove enough spring for the shorter action, you may find it's no stiffer than the original.

check out Wolff, they have a very good selection of springs in a variety of strengths.

It's never a good idea to cut down a recoil spring.
Very often, the shorter spring isn't just shorter, it has a different poundage rating. Often the shorter springs have a heavier poundage rating.
Cut down a longer spring and it may not have the same properties.
BAD news.

Just buy a new spring from Wolff that's designed to fit the gun.
