I swapped a Glock 26 (9 MM) and Glock 27 (.40) factory captured recoil spring in my 27 and they appear to have the same size and strength spring. Does anyone know if this is true? I would expect the 27 to have a heavier spring due to the more robust recoil in order to protect the slide or frame. I also use a .357 Sig barrel in my 27 and this is a bit more robust (to me) that the .40. Any thoughts on this? Thank you, Bill
