Hi,
I don't intend to carry this pistol, so IWB is not preferred. I have had good luck with Comp-tac and blade-tec holsters for my other pistols, and cheap plastic uncle mike's belt holsters have been my bread and butter for most of them for informal/club competition use. One of those would be fine IF it's IDPA legal. I'm not good at interpreting all the silly rules, and am rather ambivalent about shooting IDPA matches at all, but I have a buddy who wants me to start shooting with him.
Something like this looks good, and it says IDPA legal so I have to take their word for it. But $80 is a bit steep IMO.

But if you check the options it seems there's not one offered for the M&P 9. just .45. Mistake?
