I'm interested in what's out there on these specs and would like opinions to save me time in research, I'm not to set on brands, Ruger, Mossberg, Remington, etc:

I do prefer walnut stocks but laminate is really pretty and I'm ok with synthetic.

.300 blackout, will shoot mostly hand loaded subs @ ~220gr with a **thread on** YHM Phantom (that I already have). Will occasionally run 150gr supers with or without the Phantom. Max distance out to 100yds, purely range use, not hunting with it.

Must have:
Rail/Optic Ready
Takes AR mags

we have a ruger ranch in blackout. It's a nice light package. Adequate ergos. We put a vortex diamondback 1.5-5x scope on it. It is significantly quieter than the AR when suppressed. I desperately wish it was left handed. It might change my mind on giving up on blackout. I'd pay top dollar for a left handed ranch in 6.5 grendel, but that's a different animal all together.

but back to the blackout ranch: it's something of a beater. Cheap tupperware stock, simple finishes. Nobody will ever pick it up and say "wow, this is beautiful" but they will pick it up and say "what a light and handy package. So much lighter than your AR. And it's so quiet"

Mine's a CZ 527 under all the mods:

The basic rifle was OK, but I didn't care for the original factory synthetic stock. Shoots great, wonderful single-set trigger. Took awhile to get the feed smoothened up for the first round out of the mag. I'm pretty happy with it, but if cost had been more of an issue I might have considered the Howa offering instead. At the time I bought it, Ruger, CZ and Remington were my only factory options in .300 AAC, and I prefer the CZ action over the other two.

I definitely see the advantages of a bolt action rifle in 330BO with a suppressor. I would have to have one in a left hand version though. I'm curious to see what is available and everyone's thoughts on them.

Very cool! Suppressor specs are impressive, and it's neat that it takes a STANAG magazine.

Given that it's B&T predecessor sold for $5K apiece before the associated Class 3 costs (and presumably minus the sighting system), the system is awesome in many respects.

I'll have to settle for a photo -- and here I thought I'd spent way too much on my CZ!
