hey stogie, one thing i didn't see mentioned in the thread is the amount of beltloops on your pants, and that the belt sizes right in the loops. if you wear jeans, lee's have 7 loops, were levi's usually have 5. in my opinion, more loops the better, loops = support = comfort. but what ever you wear (slacks or jeans) make sure the belt fits the loops snuggly. if the belt is lose that 2lbs. of steel on your hip will shift and slide enough to bother you very much badly, I dont know if you've carried before, but the romance wears off real quick when you realize your babysiting that same 2lbs. of steel everyday. and if your not comfortable with it on you, you'll find yourself saying "well i'm just going to the gas station, grocery store, wallyworld, etc." and the next thing you know YOUR UNARMED WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS. it's happened to me, and i would save you that pain if i could . if your serious about carrying, make it FIT, make it COMFORTABLE, a good rule of thumb is the ability to sit in a car and drive without aggravation. I hope you find the right set up for you, good luck.
