I am researching suppressors and would like input on a choice.

I want to stick with the QD style, so I can add brakes to my rifles and just add the unit when needed.

Main use would be 6.5 creedmoor, Grendel and 556. Capability for a 30 cal would be smart, because I need to get a 308In the near future. If a 45 cal unit worked decent for a 556, I could include my 450 bushmaster in the options. I know that a 556 probably wouldn’t get much benefit from a 45 cal can, but I don’t know just how bad the efficiency suffers.

I need to be able to hunt without worrying about killing my ears with a brake.

what would you recommend and why?

Get a 308 can for rifles and a 45 can for pistols.

Jack of all trades and master of nothing comes to mind.

I have a Griffon Bushwhacker but I have never shot a rifle caliber round through it. I hope it is better than the SiCo Hybrid. I only bought it to put on my TommyGun.

This. I started out trying to shoehorn one silencer into all of my shooting needs. I now have 7 and it's very likely I will end up with at least 2 more.

Further, a .45 pistol can typically won't last long with a rifle and in fact they usually aren't rated for such things. The Hybrid is one exception.

Would I get acceptable performance for a can that covers sub magnum 30 cal to 223 rifles?

By acceptable I mean that I won’t hurt my hearing with these calibers using something like the omega 300?

.223 is gonna hurt no matter what can is on the end. Unless you get the round subsonic, but .22 LR becomes a more suitable option at that point.

The YHM Resonator R2 is what you seek. A durable and pretty light weight Omega/Bravo compatible general purpose .30 cal rifle can that comes with a solid QD system.

I did some review on the resonator. Looks like a great option. Now to find one in stock.
