Recycling old T shirts into gun patches?

I haven't purchased any cleaning patches in forty-five years.I always use old underware shirts/pants for cleaning firearms.tom.

I hate cutting up patches. Maybe I use too many.

For patches, I go buy a yard of cotton flannel from a fabric store. and cut it into parches of varying sizes. A yard goes a long way for just a couple of bucks. T-shirts become rags for me.
