I am going to build 2 300 blackout rifles with my kids. I am thinking about an inexpensive red dot for them under 100. They are going to be used for target practice and deer hunting at 100 yards. I have never used a red dot y and there are so many of them I don't know what to get. Any suggestions?

Bushnell TRS-25. Watch for sales; I have seen them as low as $75 but often under $90.
They make one version that is bundled with a riser that is supposed to cowitness with AR15 sights but mine was too high to cowitness. I solved the problem with a UTG medium height riser..
