sub 100 dollars, I was thnking about this:
Scope
Any sub 100 dollar suggestions would do. This is for a 9mm carbine.

I just bought a Simmons Outfitter 30mm red dot for $39.99, regular price was $53.95. Haven't taken it out yet to zero it in. I bought it to screw around with until I can afford a better and much more expensive one like an Aimpoint.

The Redfield will have excellent optics and no parallax. The cheaper red dots like the Simmons and the BSA have parralax issues so you have to make sure you're looking through the right part of the sight to keep the POI from drifting.

I have mostly BSA dots but I think the Tasco's are still the best value for any serious application.

I've got a Blaser 30mm that I bought for $30. So far it's been on an SKS, an M48A, a 44 mag contender, a S&W 22A, and a Mitchell Trophy II. Between those, it rolled around in the drawer of my gun cabinet. And it still has the original battery.

tasco

I've been through a tasco, just took it off of my ruger pc-9 - not happy with it at all. No matter how much I fix it, the gun ALWAYS shoots up and left. This could be a trigger issue, as the PC9 trigger is alot to get used to (to say the least). But the scope also dimmed alot even with new battery, etc. I am going to mount the tasco on my AK to make sure thescope is off, but either way I wasnt a nicer scope, adn the redfield is selling for a hundred everywhere.
