Red Star AKMs?

From what I understood Red Star Arms only makes parts, but in my local shop today they had 3 identical nib AKM's labeled "Russian Red Star AKM 47". I didn't have much time and all the clerks were busy so I didn't ask them, do any of you know what they could be? They were priced $795 each and had wood stocks.

The red star is a well known symbol of the USSR, so you can imagine that marketing decisions involving it will be many. .

I don't understand it. It wasn't some marketing gimmick, they listed it as they list the manufacturer. Only it wasn't Arsenal or CIA or Polytech, it was Russian Red Star.
