Newbie here. I have a Redding Model 3 powder measure with the bench mount (removeable). It has standard 7/8" - 14 threads and a universal drop tube, all standard.

I am also using a standard set of Lee 9mm dies. The powder through expanding die has a screw in funnel adapter on the top.

My question is: can I marry those two up on the single stage Rock Chucker II? i would like to drive the ram, expand the case mouth and throw the charge in one operation (realizing it would take two hands).

Or should I just stick with the extra step of throwing the charge on the bench?

Get a Lyman powder through expander die. Its top end has female 7/8-14 threads to take standard powder measures. Then you can use your Redding PM.

Dillon still sells the powder die from their old 450 press, for which they also sell an adapter for standard threaded PMs. You'd need their powder funnel (expander insert) for your caliber too.
