I've got an old Golden State Arms "Sante Fe Carbine" .303 Lee Enfield. It was built in 1943 as a No. 1 MKIII*. It shoots well enough at 100 yards that I justify keeping it around for the novelty. Among the many modifications it has endured a Redfield peep sight was installed which has been bent so any windage adjustment must also be accompanied by an elevation adjustment (the Redfield sight is sort of a novelty as well).

To make a short post long, I am wondering if anyone has seen other Redfield sights out there and how difficult locating replacement parts may be for it. I don't think repair is out of the question either. Maybe I can get some pics up tomarrow to better explain the situation. Any info is appreciated.

Redfield's show up on Gunbroker and evil bay all the time. Williams do to, both make a great receiver peep sight.

Post a photo of your "Santa Fe Special" I have one built on a No4 receiver.
