Redhawk and 629 cylinder lengths?

In my younger days the Redhawk cylinder was longer than the 629. I've been sleeping under a tree for the last 20 years. Is the Redhawk cylinder still longer than the 629? Any information would be appreciated!

My Redhawk is 1.750". My 629 MTN Gun is 1.710" if that helps.

The Dan Wesson 44 mags are1.77 across and 1.764 long. And as Craig said, larger and stronger

Thanks, I used to have the 629 and it would not fit my 320 Corbon bullets. I will stick with the Redhawk.
