Super Redhawk is easier to scope and has a stronger frame. Scope mounts are on the frame vs the barrel too. Weight is a bit less for the Redhawk. Otherwise, it's how well one or the other fits your hand.
On Rugers website, it shows the Hunter as SAO, and the Super Redhawk as DA/SA.
I have the Alaskan model of the Super Redhawk andi I absolutely love this revolver. The Hogue grips, although not as pretty as wood, go a long way in making the Mag shells easy to shoot.
IMHO, the biggest difference is that the Super's scope mount cuts are on the frame, versus the barrel. For that reason, I prefer the balance of the Super when scoped. Other than that, the grip situation and the slight difference in their lockwork, they are nearly identical.

Both the Super Redhawk and the Redhawk in question come with factory scope mounts so both are equally easy to scope. Weight is a wash. Strength is a wash. The Super is not stronger.
I have a SRH in 454 Casull , I think the grip is better on the SRH and the trigger is also better ! As was mentioned the integral scope mounts are a big advantage also ! If I wanted a .44 mag or .45 colt in 4 inch for woods carry I would go with the Redhawk but for hunting as a primary arm go with the SRH !! Kevin

The grip frames are different. The RH uses a solid grip frame like S&W revolvers. The SRH uses a grip "peg" like the GP100 and SP101. The grip slips over the "peg". The mainsprings are completely different. The RH uses a leaf spring, the SRH uses a coil
