Just a quick refinishing question

If I were to reblue or parkerize a firearm would I need to worry about getting blueing/parkerizing on the inside of things like the action, reciever, or barrel?

If so how can I avoid it? I can see plugging the barrel as being easy enough but things liek the reciever and action would I have to worry about that?

Blueing is on the table as well but parkerizing is what I am leaning too.

Parkerizing and blueing

The answer is...yes and no. Yes, parkerizing should not get into the bbl. You should plug it really tight before you parkerize. It can etch the bbl. I use maple tapered dowels. No, you don't have to do anything to protect the interior of a bbl if you blue. Blueing is a stain and does not add or subtract anything from the steel. Blueing inside a bbl will disappear the first time you shoot it.
