I have a couple of 1911 .45's - a full size version and a Colt Defender. The Defender is nice for carry, accurate, a bit nasty to practice with but doesn't seem to have the same reliability as the full size model.
So, being a G19 owner, I was looking around at a similiar sized / capacity .45 and checked out the G36. Trouble is, some of what I've read indicates THAT model doesn't have the stock "always-goes-bang" Glock reputation.
Or was that when it was first brought out a couple years ago? Have things been tweaked out by now so that its OOB reliability is rock solid?
Any comments?
