The title says it all I'm looking for feedback on this Glock. I know about ten years ago when this model came out there were some feeding problems with the very first guns. However I'm wanting to know if any G36 owners here have had any reliability issues with their guns? Also is it true that the Glock 36 is subject to limp wristing induced failures more than other Glocks? Thanks for any help on this guys.

I'm sure you will want to hear from those with more experience with theirs, but I have had one for a few weeks and love it. I've had it for 2 trips to the range for a pretty good break in. No problems of any kind, recoil is very manageable (could shoot it all day), very accurate, and very fun to shoot. --- Don't know about limp wristing, I usually have a 2-hand grip, but did read about few issues with that but I'm not concerned.

I really like this gun and at this point would recommend it. I believe Glock corrected their early issues long ago.

No outstanding issues here.

I bought my G36 a couple years ago new. Only problem I ever encountered was when I added a +1 mag extension. This increases the space that the mag spring has to expand, thus slightly weakening its force on the follower.

Laymen's terms it doesn't push up on the loaded rounds as hard which alters the timing of the mechanics of stripping, feeding and ejecting of rounds just ever-so slightly. -But just enough to cause a FTE once in a while.

This only caused a few fail-to-ejects, but that was enough for me to be concerned about life-saving reliability.

So, I installed Wolff mag springs on the mags that had extensions and I haven't had a problem, one, since.

If you install a +0 extension, you will not change the functioning of the mag at all and should not have any issues.

Other than that, if you keep it box stock, it runs like a clock.

Mine feeds everything I've ever run through it and begs for more.

Accurate, reliable and easy as pie to conceal.

This occurred and was solved within the first 200 rounds.

2000 rounds later it still works like a charm.

Best CCW ever all things considered.

I've only had my new G36 since Jan. 2010. It has about 500 rounds down the barrel. No problems what so ever with the 4 6-round magazines I have for it. I have done no modifications to it other than adding a Tritium front sight.

No limp wristing issues, but then I've learned not to limp wrist with other pistols long ago.

Great reviews..
The glock 19 i had i couldnt MAKE feed. Not been a fan of ANY polymer gun since (H&K being the one exception).

The problem there is the G19 doesn't feed .45 ACP, which the G36 does.

I've had one for about a month and have about 400 rounds through it and it's been perfect. Highly accurate too and a pleasure to shoot and carry. I've seen a few problems on youtube (mostly cartridges not quite getting into battery, and very rarely).

I trust mine as I do all my Glocks. If I can't carry my Airweight - I carry a Glock.

Do yourself a favor and get the 36. They really pack a wallop.
