I am reloading .45 ACP using .45 Auto WIN +P brass, CCI large pistol primer, WST 4.3 gr, and Sierra 45 Cal, 185GR 4515 DIA. I am having to expand my brass a little bit more due to the .0005 large JHP diameter. Does anyone have advice/ best practices with loading JHP in .45 with the larger bullet?

All mine measure .452, are soft lead easily shaved or chipped. Yours should seat like butter, comparatively.
Just expand them a little more, that’s all.:)
I do nothing else different than that from jacketed hollow points.

Are they not seating correctly? Crooked?
Does something feel tight?
Any set of dies should work.

Could try an "M" expander, but as said , all should work.

9mm RCBS STEP- if you go past the step, it will then flare the case mouth even more. full.jpg

I'm impressed that you can measure to the 4th decimal point. Lol.
My only advice would be don't worry about that last .0005 and load as you would any other bullet. Expand as much as necessary, then taper crimp to remove the bell.

I agree with the others, giving the case a bit more bell mouth isn't bad, unless you lose neck tension.
What is your OAL for the cartridge? 4.3 gr. of WST seems a bit low for a 185 gr. bullet.

Those Sport Master bullets sure ain’t cheap. ($43 per hundred.). Don’t know what you’re using them for but 4.3 WST may cause cycling issues. I run 4.7 WST / 200g SWC and it’s basically a girly load.
