I have found that I need to change settings on my Dillon Square Deal B when loading 40 S&w cases used in glock or the powder charge is significantly different - like 4gr of w231.
The .40 cases from my brother in-laws gen4 glock end up much shorter than the same ammo/cases when run thru my HKp2000sk.
His glock bulges case near bottom my HK does not.
The bulge shortens the case that the press is unable to completely correct.
So unless I readjust the case mouth flare which in turn affects the stroke of powder measure I will have less of a charge in that case.
I had used a resized case from the glock and another from my HK to set up press and measure charge weight.
At first I could not figure out why my press suddenly became bad at consistent powder charge - it has always been exceptional for consistency.
Discovered that glock fired brass was shorter.
Now I sort the brass and load it separate with adj press settings.
