Reloading for the 375 H&H - Questions

Hello - I want to start reloading for the 375 H&H. I have read that it's best to have a sturdy single stage press for the larger calibers.

I am leaning toward the Rock Chucker Supreme. I believe this is a kit.

Would this be my best choice? What other equipment would I need in addition to what comes in the kit?

I am completely new to reloading and would appreciate any additional advice you can offer.

The 375 is the only caliber I will be reloading.

I use the Supreme with no problems for 6.5mm to .375.

This weekend was at my brothers and used his older version RC which I thought was much better. Better as the lever travel was less and therefore loading was quicker. I will be looking for an older version to add to my Supreme, the supreme for me is a little overkill.

As good as any and better than some. Given that the .375 H&H is fine cartridge in the field I don't think it presents any unusual issues at the bench.

Myself I use a Redding T7 and a Forster CoAx and for oversize a Hollywood Universal Turret and a few more - I don't suggest a Hollywood but the T7 and the CoAx will each do something for me the RCBS won't.

But an original first model Rock Chucker did everything I wanted for a long long time.

I agree, read the sticky threads and then come back and ask any questions you still have.

Also, you won't go wrong with a RCBS press although there is nothing wrong with the Lee Cast Iron single stage press either and for less money.

That Rock Chucker Supreme kit has just about everything you need except for a set of calipers and the dies. The 5-0-5 scale is excellent and Uniflow Powder Measure. I also like the hand primer that comes with the kit. Kits usually come with stuff you don't need, not with that kit though.
