Who has the best advice and set up to get the most out of their time either reloading or bullet casting? I am now with out a job due to lay off, for how long I don't know but I don't want to waste a moment of time while this opportunity is there. After I get my unemployment insurance and transfer health insurance I have house stuff to do until tuesday so it opens wed to sat for AMMO making.

I have the following equipment

Ch auto champion 38 spl
Phelps (STAR copy) 45 acp
Single stage Lyman spartan
Dillon 450
2 Star bullet sizers
1 RCBS lube a matic
Lee 20 pound lead pot
Lee 6 cavity molds
Arsenal 5 cavity molds

Case triming is my down fall, so i need help there I have lee stuff and the hobel machine shop world cheapest trimmer.

Time frame 8 hour shifts once a day.

My only advice is taking breaks so quality control takes precedent over production.

I've had some marathon sessions myself and ice found my focus able to be maintained up to about 1500 rounds in a day on my Dillon 650.

Taking breaks and changing up is my best advice

You're a better man than I am Gunga-Din!

1500 is pretty impressive! Mind you, my reloading is more like a premium bourbon: small batch and slow aged ;-)

joking aside, excellent advice for the OP. Unlike government work, close often isn't good enough. And as you note, frequent, short breaks can keep one fresh and focused. They also allow for.post-handwashing eating and drinking which is always a good precaution to follow.

Sounds like a great idea @KY DAN.
I'm in!

I'll be making another set of 75ELDs, just to play. I ordered a new seating stem for them as the profile for the one I have is incorrect. So I won't be seriously shooting them this afternoon. But I will be shooting...:)

I ordered a Lee APP (just as all the crazy hit.) to deprime brass with, but it isn't here yet. So target rifle is all I can do for now.

In fact, I heard the coffee machine gurgle it's signal that it's done. Time to fill a cup and head downstairs to "The Room".

Runners to the line.
Set.
Go!
