any1 from florida know a good place to get primers, powder, bullets, etc. i live in brooksville *north of tampa* i have called a few shops but no1 has anything or if they do its over priced.

Space Coast Bullets in Melbourne

Richard, Calvin and company are very good people to deal with. www.spacecoastbullets.com. will show you a smidgen of what they sell. I visited their shop one time to see just what they had and drove away lighter in the wallet and very impressed. I order from them over the phone or via email and pick up my order at the Orlando Gun Show. If you go to the OGShow and want to buy from them without pre-ordering, get there early with a thermos of coffee and a pee cup.

It's a little bit of a drive from Brooksville; that's the price you pay for fame.

thanks guys, i tried the internet but i dont like having to pay the extra shipping fee's plus i like to build a relationship with the places i plan on ordering alot from. just like spikes tactical, instead of ordering online i drove over met every 1 and it turned out great, free stuff, fun times, and lots of good advice anytime i need it.

Tampa here. Check out Harbor Reloading 2140 Sunnydale Blvd Clearwater, Fl ph.#(727) 446-7233.

I also live in Florida and that is all well and good until you think about how the local guy is charging you double what you could get it for online. Hell yeah they are all nice and buddy/buddy with you, you are lining their pockets.

well i was informed of a guy that doesnt charge an arm and a leg, harbor reloading supplies in clearwater. im going to try him, he has primers for $30 per 1k, that the same as most internet sites minus the shipping fees.

I imagine there aren't many stores in Florida that sell bullets at reasonable prices as I sell a lot of bullets to Florida. In fact, after Texas, Florida is the state I sell the most bullets to. You probably can find good prices online for casings and bullets, but you usually have to buy a lot more powder and primers to make it worth the hasmat fee.

darksidemxer $30 is great, the guys around here (Gainesville) want $45 a 1000 and $26+ for powders. I guess I am kind of spoiled I usually do group buys with a few friends so we split hazmat and regular shipping costs. We usually order enough to totally maximize the hazmat fee. Last time we ordered I got 13lbs of powder and 9000 primers my part of the total shipping was $11.

I dealt with Space Coast Bullets in Melbourne for 6 years before we moved over to Lake Placid in July. I was pretty happy with them. Now I have to find one here as good. So far the only shop I have dealt with was $7 higher for a pound of IMR 3031 then Space Coast was. I may have to go the web route. Hopefully when I do need some I can get together with a couple of others to do it?
One local guy said there was a good shop in Fort Meyers, but couldn't remember the name of it.

I live just north of you in Homosassa. I have yet to find any local suppliers including the range that have any stock consistantly . I buy all my reloading componets from the internet.

hey putteral your not far from me, i will let you know my exp with this guy in clearwater when i go down there, not sure when it will be cuz im going to daytona this weekend to trade for a 9mm makarov. qajaq59, i will ask my father in law who lives in fort myers if there are any good places. i know a new tactical store just opened down there right close to the interstate SUPPOSEDLY they carry a bit of everything.

Spring Hill reloader here.

Gunshows, Gunshows, Gunshows...

While primers there are up to 40 a box, at least you can find em. Powder is down to about 22-24, which isn't bad for a pound...

Bullets, Fast shipping, great products.

I'll chime in here--in Brandon, so east of Tampa. Looking for another place, myself.

Patriot Arms carries some stuff, but it's been so long since they had it in stock that I don't know the prices.

Paid $40/1k on primers at the last gun show I got to, and was glad to get them even at that price.

And the lady even yelled at me when I popped open a box, and I only got to shake it at her when I pointed out that box was missing a pack. She almost lost a sale there. If she hadn't been the only supplier...

yea i hate buying at gun shows, ive been ripped off more than twice.....if they dont let you open the supplies before taking it home i ask WHY???

Hi Roger.... Yes I did stop in to see him but all he had was 2, 8 lb jugs of Varget, and I was looking for Unique and IMR 3031. I asked him to include some in his next order and gave him my card, but I haven't heard from him yet. He seems like a nice guy. There's a place on Rte 98 too, where I got some IMR 3031, but their prices were awful high. I think I'll have to call over to Melbourne and make a run when I run out of what I have.

And I wonder if you belong to the Highland Gun Club?

Harbor Reloading

I think you will be pleased with Harbor Reloading. I was just introduced to the company a couple of weeks ago and have only been once but I was impressed with his inventory and knowledge. He's been in the business for quite a while.
