I am thinking about buying a Rem 700 LSS in 338 RUM. I shoot left handed and would eventually like to get this rifle made into a 375 H&H. I know the 338 is about equal to the 375, but you know how it is when you want something.
Havent fould any 700's in 375 RUM. Some day big bear in AK or Africa if I can pull it off when I retire.
Does anyone have any experience doing something like this? Is it as simple as getting a gunsmith change out the barrel and check head space?
Like to here about your guys experience.
