I am having a problem with accuarcy & i contacted Remington this evening & they want the rifle returned . Remington has already send me a prepaid UPS label to do so . The tech said that the rifle should be shooting accuratly right out of the box . I put my scope on a 8mm Remington Magnum my buddy has & it grouped excellent at 100 yrds so my scope being bad is out . The tech stated it may be a headspace problem or something drilled in correctly . More to come . My scope is a Swift Premiere 8x16x50mm .

What size were the groupings? It could be a scope mounting problem. I have heard of a couple of SPS rifles that had issues with the scope mount holes. Was there any pressure signs on the brass? What bases and rings were you using?
