I acquired a used Rem 700 BDL in 7mm RM. It shoots fantastic but was a little "tired" so I had the gun re-blued and fitted a take-off SPS stock. I am going to shoot off a bipod and noticed the stock is somewhat flexible at the barrel end. I was going to bed the rifle in some manner but was told by a large, popular magazine mail order company that synthetic stocks cannot be bedded in any manner, pillar or glass. Is this indeed the case or is it possible and what will work the best? I would hate to ruin what has been a very accurate shooter.
