Unfortunately the Leverevolution is the FTX not the GMX. Can't hunt with it here.
But I was thinking yesterday, when my buddy and I went looking for pigs: I have both the 6.5x55 and the 270 win in copper: not everything needs to be. But I am getting tired of Gov Moonbeam making laws that make it harder to be a responsible legal gun owner in CA. Drives me nuts: I may not be here forever...he'd prob be happy to hear that.

I think that the .35 Remington using 200Grain Remington Core-Lokts would be a fine Hog cartridge, especially in thick brush.

Thanks Goose that was a great read.
Stephen and I noticed the rattle too: it didn't bother me as much because my attention was taken by the non-working scope. I think when I get a chance I re-place a 4x? I lieu of the 4x32 on it now. I liked the sight picture at 100 yards, won't be shooting 300+.

Unfortunately, the fTX and the GMX need a lot more FPS, prob why it didn't expand for you. The guy at the LGS told me yesterday that the Nosler is better than the Barnes or Hornady: but they don't make a 200 gr 358...

It will still be a fun gun and if I ever do get out of here those Core-locks I suspect wi do just fine...

ExAgoradzo,
I am certain that when you get new glass you'll have a great rifle in the .35. As I said before, I NEVER saw a 760 that did not shoot, even with all the shakes and rattles.
Have Fun!!
