The Credit Card industry, the Retail industry and the Banking , Restaurant's...ANYTHING that takes YOUR CREDIT CARD runs on DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED. WHO, WHAT, WHERE , WHEN and WHY. They don't need the Government's permission, you gave it to them when you signed up for the card. They know your spending habits, how often you buy toilet paper, what brand, what store, they even can extrapolate your bowel movements. So who are you kidding? If they wish to, with enough persuasion from, say a Government agency, they can and will turn over any and all of your data...and how are you going to stop them...they extrapolate all your spending habits, your contacts from your call history, your location from either your cell phone ping, or your GPS/computer on your vehicle...The technology is there, and if you think the powers that be are going to sit idly by and not take advantage of that technology....then your living in a dream world. You may not like the idea that BIG Brother is real, but what you like has nothing to do with the reality. I don't like Tabasco, how does that change anything?
And if you really think that the Goverment is above doing ANYTHING underhanded....they are just Men..
The Founding Father's wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights knowing how corrupt men's hearts were..and they knew that it would possibley take a show of force, to remove an oppressive government, and reestablish a government of the people, for the people and by the people....pray it does not have to come to this....
