This GOA video recaps the campaign to kill the pistol brace rule and reminds us to call our Senators so that HR 44 will also pass in the Senate. We only need 51 votes total, so if you live in a state where one or both senators are Republicans who need encouragement to vote yes, or especially where one or both senators are Dems who might be willing to support it, call and leave them a message that as their constituent you are requesting them to vote yes. The number is 202-224-3121.

Let's make sure we communicate this correctly.

H.J.Res.44 is what you need to refer to or use the full title -
"Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives relating to "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached 'Stabilizing Braces'"

HR 44 is "Kalief's Law" Effective and Humane Treatment of Youth Act of 2023 or Kalief's Law , which was introduced in the House in January with no cosponsors.

Don't confuse them when communicating your support to your Senators. Refer to H.J. Res. 44 "Providing for Congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, US Code, of the rule submitted by the BATFE relating to "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached 'Stabilizing Braces'".
