hello again everyone,
im not sure where to post this thread. so here goes.i recently asked if anyone had luck with remington 115 gr jhp and got great responses. my next question is which is better remington 115 gr jhp or winchester 115 jhp? i used to carry fed hydra-shoks but shooting every week get expensive. so ive opted instead to find a great standard pressure 9mm round, that i can buy boxes of 50 rounds for a great price. i found both for under 10.00 a box. thats alot better than 15.00 for 20. anyway thanks again for the info.
THANK YOU.

I believe that there is virtually no difference in the ammo you mention. Both are loaded to almost the exact same specs and I doubt that either would be superior to the other in terms of accuracy or reliability. Pick one and be happy.

The standard pressure Federal 115 gr JHP is a good performer. But for practice I get Win White Box by the case that's the better deal , then carry something better.

I tried both and found that the remington had
much more muzzle flash from my SW99C.That
was the only real difference, both shot to the
same POA and had the same group size.

thank you very much for your in put. does anyone think federal 9bp jhp would be a better choice as far as quality and price goes?

9BP is good ammo, but I don't understand why you can't shoot a good quality 115 grain FMJ to practice and save some money. I shoot S & B or Blazer on a regular basis and just shoot five or ten of my carry load once a month. I buy Blazer for $3.86 for 50 at Academy sports and outdoors.

I have shot the Remington UMC 115 JHP in my Glocks. The accuracy was good up to 25 yards. I emailed Remington asking about the expansion as I wish to carry for seld defense. Their reply was that it would expand well. Byron

That's pretty much what I'd expect them to say. Whether it's true or not is another question, but I'm sure they said that. :scrutiny:

I think about any 115 grain JHP will pretty much be the same load to load. I carry Corbon's +P flavor, a little more juice.

first thank you all for your response. when i go to the range i do usually shoot cci blazers.i spend alot of time firing carry ammo as well,i carry a glock 19 it'll shoot anything i run through it but as much as go to the range it costs some pretty good jack. i'm just looking for good standard pressure 9mm. for a sub to to hydra-shoks. i just believe in shooting as much of your everyday carry stuff to know with as little doubt as possible that it'll do what i want when i need it to.i was told that these were good choices.
