I was at a shop. They have a Remington 510 TargetMaster. It has a 25" barrell. I took a look down it and it is cleaner and shinier than just opened tin foil. The rifling looks good too. Nearly Identical to this one at gunbroker, except better condition and the bolt much darker.

The dealer is selling it for just below $100. Similar rifles on Gunbroker have buy nows and lowest bids well over my dealer's pricing. I don't have an account so I can't see previously sold ones.

My primary use would be paper punching and every so often rabbit or squirrel.

Basically, is this a good deal for what it is? (Or did I answer my own question with my findings on gunbroker?)

I picked it up. The dealer even dropped the price more. :D Its a beautiful rifle. I looked up the date code. PJ looks like it was made June 1940. About to run off to the range. Looks like a "tack shooter" :D
