I'd opt for a 660 over a 600.
Get a couple more inches of bbl.
Had one of each.
Passed on a mint 660 in .243 at last gunshow.
Old Redfield on it IIRC..........$650.
I thought that a bit much.
So I snagged a #1 RSI and will hunt for an AH forend.
Like a 600/660..........but they are a bit overpriced IMHO (what isn't in today's market?)

scaatylobo, If you go to the zidaho ad that I posted in my previous post it will have the person's name "Scott" and then after that it has his phone number, but is missing the area code of "208". It is a private sale so either you have to be an Idaho resident (I'm assuming you are in New York) and can meet him personally or you are going to have to have him send the rifle to an FFL upon payment. But I'm sure you already know that. Hope that helps. Let me know if you end up purchasing it.
