Remington 7-series rifle box mag Q

Hey y'all,

Recently been getting into the Remington 7-series rifles in pump (found a first-year 760) and semiauto (looking at a 742: pretty!).

My question is which of these 7-series models, if any, have interchangeable box magazines between them? Are any OK for more than one caliber?

PS: more specifically, a 742 in 30'06 I'm looking at has a .270 magazine. Are they interchangeable?

Yes.

While the SA (.243-.308) or LA (.270-.30-06) calibers in the same action are good to go, a semi mag will not work in a pump, as far as I know.....
