Was wondering if anyone knew whether the factory 4-shot Remington 760 magazines in 30'06 are interchangeable with .270?

Also, I have seen 10-round aftermarket magazines by Eagle in clear plastic  Are these any good?

Are there larger factory magazines for the 760 in 30'-06?

Thanks!

Yes, the .270 will work. All of the standard long actions use the same magazine. (.270, .280, .30-06, .35 Whelen)

I don't know anything about the Eagle magazines. Most likely junk.

Years ago I bought Eagle magazines for two different rifles both worked for a short time and died. Thought they were a waste of money and total garbage.

I don't think they make any larger than 4, at least for the long actions. They might for the short actions.

About 20 years ago a friend of mine found a plastic 20-rounder for his '06. Being ......so wise as to not field test it before he took it hunting, he missed a deer because it wouldn't feed.

But yes, every magazine I've seen for them says they will work in .270 and '06.

I've seen some steel ones on Gunbroker made by Coyler (sp?); anybody know what round size or reliability is like on these? Thanks!

Can you post a link? Like I said before, I don't think any were made for the long action 76, 760, 7600.
