Remington 700 J-Lock replacement

I posted this over in the rifle section. But might be a better fit here. My 700 has the J-lock and I am looking at replacing it with a Callahan unit from Midway.

Before I do, I just want to make sure its a simple swap and there are no concerns with firing pin length on the replacement.

Has anyone replaced thiers with the Callahn unit? Any problems or concerns ?
