OK, So this is what I want: http://www.snipercentral.com/spstactical.htm

This will be my first bolt action rifle. I would like to shoot 100 to 500/600 yards, recreational sniping :D

Your thoughts?
Good choice?
Recomended scope?
Recomended ammo?

BTW, what's the lifetime of such rifle? How many rounds can the barrle take?

EDIT TO ADD: I'm thinking about .308 caliber.

I looked at it and several factors caused me not to consider it.
No factory drop magazine.
No factory adjustable comb.
No set trigger.
You can however install a drop magazine plate, a Jewell trigger and a McMillan stock. By the time you add it up you could buy a far superior rifle.

Be sure to be clear about what ammo you'll be shooting and how it likes the barrel length and twist. For 600 yard target shooting I hope that you reload otherwise you'll spend a lot trying different factory match ammo.

Scopes are a function of cost. Look through a $200 Nikon scope and then look through the same power US Optics or Swarovski. Then decide how far you want to take it. You may find a good older, made in the US, target scope with excellent performance at a fraction of the cost. Be sure the scope has parallax adjustment.

Sorry to be so critical and consider that all things are subjective.
