Finally got my SPS VS Stainless together and shot it today. Despite the fact that it is a nice looking gun accuracy was disappointing but expected. I put 50 rounds through it to break it in, then another 10 to check it for accuracy.
After that it was time to see what it would do. Group sizes were pretty much what I expected at about 1.25" on average.
The trigger is absolutely horrible, seems like you pull forever waiting for it to go off. After break in it got just a little better. Got home and measured it, breaks at 6 lbs. I doubt it can be brought down to 3 lbs.
The stock was also what I expected. Depending how it was set in the rest the rifle shot higher or lower because of pressure on the barrel. The new stock should be here in 2 weeks so I have this covered. But, I think I want a new trigger. I'll be looking for a Timney to replace what came on the rifle.
