Hello everyone. I'm having a heck of a time trying to find out information about my rifle. Maybe you can help. My 721 was made in Feb of 1950. It has the deluxe checkered stock. Would this be the ADL model or the BDL model? How would you tell? Could it be the "B" model? It is not stamped B after 721 on the reciever. It also has the "ball check" style swivel sling mounts and a chrome plated trigger guard! Whats up with that? Was the chrome a fancy aftermarket add on in 1950 or did the original owner have a buddy in the chroming business? Also it has a period correct Leupold scope. Somebody please tell me what I have...Thank you!!
