Hello , I was given an old remington 722 rifle from my grandfather in 300 savage minus the bolt and floorplate. Is there any way to get parts ?Thanks thomas

Looks like Numrich is sold out at the moment, and its quite pricey. You might be able to find a complete gun for only a small amount more and then take what you need and either have spare parts or sell off the extras.
On a side note, I have a 721 (the long action version). You might want to have a gunsmith take a look at the safety and see if its functioning properly. I like keeping my guns original, but its nice to know if yours is working properly.

Just incase you are not fully aware of the actual issue Remington had with the safety I will explain.
The safety does work to block the trigger from allowing you to fire, but were a lot of reports that the rifle would fire when the safety was released.
From what I have gathered its from lube getting into the safety and trigger mechanisms, but there could be other reasons.
