I have an 870P with a 7rd tacstar extension and clamp. The magazine comes to within about 3/4" of the end of the barrel. My Tactical 870 has the same barrel length but comes with a remington extension that meets the end of the barrel and I like that better plus, I like the clamp and the way the extension mounts better. I have not been able to locate a remington extension like what is on the tactical and one dealer that I asked said they restrict those parts so you cant order them. Anybody know if this is the straight scoop?
