last week I was talking to aguy that had bought a remington 870 express, and he was describing it 20 inch barrel, wooden stock and 5+1 ammo capacity. as I know guns like the described do only take 4+1 shell. did I misunderstand him or are they also manufactured in 5+1? he didn't mention an magazine extention. the reason I ask is he is thinking about selling it and buying a benelli m3. maybe I would get a good prize, but without magazine extention a4+1 shotgun is not very suitable for german pump-shotgun competion. (for slug competion you need at leat7+1 and for steel targets at 15 meters a I would need 5+1 or more.)I would like to hear what you know.

If the gun is a Remington and is unmodified, it is indeed a 4 + 1 capacity. The Chinese-made clones of the 870 are 5 + 1 however.
