remington DU 1100 12ga,flea market find.

a friend called this morning and said he found a remington 1100 12ga ducks unlimited in next to new condition at a flea market he was at ,as he was not interested in it, he thought i might me and he was right(i have a soft spot for 1100,s). well the remington was as he said it was and its now mine for 380.00. i think any remington in ex condition is worth that much. i just did a quick wipe down with break free, what say you. eastbank.

Aside from cleaning them, I love 1100s.

My last one was high mileage and super sharp on the inside. I got gun shy about cleaning it after slicing my hands a few times.

My last firearm purchase was a used 1100 Competition. I love it, but it wasn't even close to the great deal that you got.

Beautiful gun there eastbank, I've always enjoyed shooting my 1100, that I bought back in the early '70s, in fact I've got 3 barrels for mine, a 22", a 26", and a 30", the last two have the Rem-chokes.
