Remington green case

I bought a Classic Trap, NIB, and an additional Remington green hard plastic shotgun case. The gun does not seem to fit in this case. Are the shotgun cases one size fits all, and you just have to work around it? The receiver and forearm won't lie flat in the case. There is no place for the barrel to lie flat, as there really isn't a cut out for the ring. It seems to have places for chokes, otherwise I'd wonder whether it was for a rifle.

Anybody got one that fits?

My classic trap gun has quite a different drop at the comb and heel than my field gun. You think maybe the green case was intended for a field gun? I don't know about the barrel...other than being 30" long, the shape and taper is the same as my 28" field barrel. Was the case bought as a set new with the CT? Hope you enjoy your new Classic Trap as much as I do mine.
