Remington Mod. 34

Dad passed this one down to me when I was about 12. (50 years ago) It's a bolt action, tube feed, .22 short, longs and long rifle. Has a Lyman peep sight.

He bought it prior to WWII and he used it primarily for target shooting.

I'm interested in the the history of this model, it's background etc.

Got one myself, but without a peep sight. It is a shooter. Rescued it from a pawn shop.

Thanks. Looks like very few were produced and only for 2 years.
Think I'll crank her up again. Haven't shot her for many years. I think some black squirrels around here are begging to go to dinner with me.
