How does the Remington model 58 shotgun compare to later models like the 1100 in terms of durability/reliability .I have one in 20ga. that was given to me by my FIL and a friend has one in 12 ga. that I can get right .I've also been told a barrel from an 870 Remington can be used if you drill the gas port hole in it ,is this true ?
