Remington model 742 assembly codes?

Hey y'all,

Anyone out there know where to find (or have handy) assembly codes for Remington 742's?

I am trying to discover when a certain one was made. I've seen these for the 760 model but can't find them for the 742. Thanks!

A two or three letter code on the left side of the barrel identifies the month and year of manufacture. The first letter identifes the month, the other letter(s) identify the year. This works for 1921-1972

Another sight that may be helpful is www.remingtonsociety.com They have some diagrams that help in finding the codes
