Remington No.4 Rolling Block rifle ?

Gentleman.
Friend of mine handed me this little rifle some time ago. "Here, it's yours now, it was in my family for a long time".

I wonder if any of you can help me to find out when was it made.

It is a take down model, round barrel so i know it is from the last production runs. The serial No. is 354828.

Very crude sights but it is drilled and tapped for tang sight.

Also, when new, was the receiver blued or case hardened ?
