Remington Nylon 76

Help! A customer brought in a Nylon 76 Lever action. Seems his "kids" took it apart and of course can't get it back together. Well after four days and almost 12 hours at the bench, well, ummm, neither can I Just spent the past 2 hours searching google with no luck for an online reassembly manual. I have the parts schematic, BUT the POS has to be assembled in a very specific manner for it to function. Anyone have any links for an online manual??? :banghead:

I know he had Remington Nylon 66 instructions.

I was actually the threadstarter on the thread mentioned...I will look around on my hard drive and see if I can find the file. It is a huge file -- can you receive a large graphic attachment?

Mr. Nolden has the field service manual. I know because my uncle took his 76 completely apart the day after I gave it to him.

I still have a copy on a computer at home I believe. As best I remember it's a monster file with almost 40 pages. Lots and lots of parts...but you knew that already.

I have the Field Service Manual, but it's 5 MB and requires a free copy of Adobe Acrobat. You're looking at about a 30-minute download on dial-up. Send me an e-mail (my e-mail is in my Profile) if you want me to send a copy as an attachment.

I tried to attach it this post, but there's a 2 MB limit and winzip wouldn't shrink it enough.
