I recently posed an email question to Remington, asking if they plan on adding the 260 Rem. to the R-25 line, which to me is a no-brainer. This is the response that I received.

Do you plan on offering the R-25 in the .260 Remington caliber? I believe it would be a great addition to the line.

Thank you for contacting Remington Country. We apologize for the lengthy wait in response to your email. We have experienced some technical difficulty with our system that has caused this situation. Thank you for your patience.

I agree it would be a great addition but as of now I know of no plans to implement that into the caliber line.

Thank you,
Pete

Maybe you should be on the R&D team.

I'm sure that I could do an admirable job Tarvis, but I prefer to remain in retirement and add to this site and deal with the smug rhetoric that's common with some who post here.

Cerberus, the company that owns Remington, also owns Bushmaster and DPMS.

The guns are probably a mix of both...
