A very generous family member gave me enough money that I can buy anything on my wish list for Christmas. Now, I’ve been building some gear collection for an elk hunt but that is coming out of my regular “fun money” funds and I thought I might do something with this money that I wouldn’t have otherwise bought for myself, and would have been ecstatic to find wrapped under the tree. Its between an Aimpoint and Surefire for my AR, or a Remington V3.

My only SG is a Mossberg pump 500 20 Gauge Bantam model. I’m thinking that I don’t want - I Need! - a 12 gauge semi auto to fill out my shotgun stable. This will be useful for having two guns when I take friends, family, my child etc hunting or shooting, and give me more ammo choices for turkey or if I get invited duck hunting.

Can I use either pattern below for turkey and ducks or will the blades pattern be significantly better for ducks and not worse for turkey?

I’ve never done any type of waterfowling - just hoping to keep all my future options open.

Doesn't matter. Movement is what scares away ducks. I have had them sit on the water 15 feet from me with an old brown duck coat and blue jeans and a glossy blue 1100 across my legs.

I would choose the MOBU or black for turkey , anything for ducks .
