Remmy 700 bolt removal

My step dad is having some problems removing the bolt from his Remmy 700. Care to share the secret? Thanks.

There should be a little square right in front of the trigger. Push it in and pull out the bolt.

Like Auburn says, just in front of the trigger(where the trigger enters the triggerguard) is a little flush mounted square thing. Push it up and the bolt should slide right out.

yep, thats where the bolt release is on the three Model 700s that I own.
It's a tiny little square just behind the front of the trigger guard. NOT the magazine release.
